As a follow-up to my photo, the history of gargoyles and chimeras on Notre Dame is fascinating -
I can see why you asked that, but actually, no, it is a tall, thin vase with one flower in it and yesterday while out in my kitchen I noticed how the light was playing with the thick stem of the flower and the lines and texture of the glass vase, making for intriguing image possibilities. Grabbed the camera and my favorite macro lens, moved a couple of things out of the way on the counter, positioned the vase a little closer to the light coming in from the window and spent some time shooting.....Coke bottle?
