I feel you. I had the same experience in Japan's subways.
Thank you! The picture began as a portrait of a couple making a picture, but when I looked at it was more about layers and seeing through glass reflections, twice. Two people, two glass walls.Wow! What an unexpected and interesting image! I liked the result from my first look because of that bright green band across the middle and the two people highlighted by it, but it took me a long time to figure out what exactly I was looking at. A really, really cool effect of the overlapping reflections.
Yes, not far from Darien, in New Canaan. An old horse farm on the NY line converted into a ... well, it's hard to say. A retreat. A community center. A library reading room. A bit of a design mecca (lots of Asian tourists, including the subject of the photo -- Grace Farms must be in e.g., Japanese guide books). A nature area. A recreation space. A tea room.We lived in Darien for eight years but left before this opened (I don’t recall even hearing about it; we moved in 2011, so not sure it was even an idea then). I would have loved this place.
she had a family emergency. hopes to be back next week.Anyone know if @katbel is ok? I have not seen her in 5 days since I've been back. I hope she is ok.

I really like this composition. Although I wished that the butterfly was hanging on the very tip of the thumb which would've made image more balanced to the viewers' eyes.
The main subject is somewhat depressed by the weight of the amazing backdrop. The background abstract is simply amazing and well captured
I’ll try to get my subjects to take that in mind next time! 😂I really like this composition. Although I wished that the butterfly was hanging on the very tip of the thumb which would've made image more balanced to the viewers' eyes.

I was only implying that how good those photographs were. Didn't mean to show any disrespect : )Welcome to the POTD thread! I hope you post some of your own photos. Typically we don't leave constructive criticism in this thread unless it is specifically asked for by a poster. 🙂 We have other threads where CC is more appropriate.
After 15 years of marriage, I’m getting pretty good at taking CC. 😁Welcome to the POTD thread! I hope you post some of your own photos.
