A little fill flash would help here, as would an angle without the blurred branch.

I was pretty sure if I used flash he would have been off in a heartbeat. As for the angle, I tried to move but then of course so did he! I've been places with real tame squirrels. This little guy was quite a way off in the shadows. I think next time I'll take some food and set up camp. I guess thats how the pro's do it.

Thank you all for your thoughts. Sorry to be so long replying, I've been waiting for the light to be right to try a different version. Tried this a few minutes ago, more of a straightforward version this time.

I prefer this one.

Looks to me more like somebody dumped a body off the roof and it got caught on the window cleaners trolly. Thats some weird swimming pool. Nice spot though.

Oh, yes! The driver always gets slobber all over. That stuff just flies around and then freezes almost instantly :)

But watching the dogs run and having so much fun is hard to resist by those of us who enjoy having dogs around.

Heading for spring, it seems, without having had a 'proper' winter. Doesn't seem right to me...

Seems good to me … Makes up for the double dose we got last year. Unless you're in the south west of course, when you'd no doubt settle for cold and dry.

It's good to see some colour back in the countryside.

Methinks you quoted the wrong person- but I've heard it's not slobber that the driver gets all over themselves, as sled dogs "go" on the run...

Spent yesterday in the dales enjoying the fresh new tarmac that the impending Tour de France has funded.
Stopped off at Brimham Rocks for a couple of shots.

Brimham rocks takes me back. Haven't been there for 18 years or so. I spent a few Christmases at Ripon back then, and we used to travel all round there. Now I have taken up photography, I think I'll go back some day.

Yes it certainly is spring time now. It's almost at the right time for me to shoot sunsets after work now with the lighter evenings. Here is more evidence of springtime.

This is just confusing my brain. I just want to turn my iMac screen over. Probably says more about my brain than your photo!

What a lovely model… I mean photo!
