Why when posting from iPad does caption post below the photo insert despite written before insert? Requires going into “edit” after posting to adjust narrative placement in front of attachment code.

I don’t seem to have this problem. I type my message and then hit return and then upload a post the shot. You may need to place your cursor before you select “thumbnail” or “full.”

Neither do I with MacBook Pro as seems isolated to iPad, but haven’t tried with iPhone. Had noticed in past, so today wrote the one word “stebnite” for easy editing, <return> with cursor on that lower line when starting the insert. Didn’t think to check (habit, never do with MBP) that didn’t shift to front when presented with the thumbnail choice. That may be it.

Don’t see too many, if any, people posting mineral shots on here. Nice picture.
Thanks. Have a few more. Yesterday took granddaughter to the Peabody Natural History Museum at Yale. Dinosaurs of course, but have entire wing dedicated to minerals. Will post some over next few days, but probably dinosaurs tomorrow.

(NOTE: From my question yesterday about narrative appearing below when posting from iPad, to place above without later editing, while cursor is in correct place when beginning selecting and uploading, before transitioning from thumbnail, need to tap the narrative to return the cursor to the correct place, then convert the thumbnail to full)
