Today is my diptych loop day! The one that inspired our Photo Association thread.
My photo is the one on the right, with the sky. 🙂

All of these flower photos are very colorful. As someone who used to paint a lot, I focus / obsess on color. Really good stuff, and a nice counterpoint to the cat photos I post. 👍
Ha ha ha ha! Oh, fear not! Most of my good photos are of our cats. Please continue posting cat photos. They sometimes make my entire day.
this is amazing!
are these deer (or Carabou) everyday guest in your yard?
The battery for Canon's R5 and R6 are of a higher capacity than the batteries used for DSLR cameras such as the 5D and 7D-series, because these two mirrorless cameras use more battery power. I should purchase an backup battery for my R6, but so far I haven't had the need for a second battery because of the following: the batteries I use with the 5D and 7D DSLR cameras are fully compatible with the battery in the R6. So I can always remove the battery from one of these two cameras and use it as a backup, but at a reduced capacity. All these batteries are similar, except that the one in the R6 is of a higher capacity.yes and using airplane mode helps. I don't get quite the battery life as I did with my dSLRs but I have spare batteries and it's never been a huge issue. I do notice that the battery in the Z6ii is better than the Z6 battery (it's a newer version).

I think most of us have violated this once or twice, but it is the photo of the day thread, not photos so please be mindful going forward. 🙂 I have sometimes posted twice to show a pullback or other information but we try to keep true to the spirit of the thread.I usually don't post more than 1 photo a day

I have a little bit better one where stepped 6' to the left. Didn't want to put it up on the last day of the month.I asume that's a rare shot. Great.
There is the Photo Association Game Thread - you can post more than 1 a day as long as there is some connection to the previous photo. Man, I am pimping that thread something fierce today. 🤪I usually don't post more than 1 photo a day

There is a R5 and R6 firmware upgrade coining up (version 1.3x), but don't upgrade until Canon USA posts the link. The new firmware includes the ability to save your individual settings and modes-including what you have on C1, C2, and C3-to one of the two cards. This way you can retrieve the settings and save them on the new firmware. This feature is only available for the R5.I bought the battery grip to my R6, but will switch that to my R5 instead. Haven't tested it out completely yet. R5 will arrive tomorrow, so I'll have the easter holiday to try it out a bit.

Just remember not to upgrade the firmware to version 1.3 (version 1.2 is fine, however)
I stepped over that line when I wanted to have feedback on contrasting cropping - Is there sufficient justification for another thread for that type of posting? Or does one have to use the following day?I think most of us have violated this once or twice, but it is the photo of the day thread, not photos so please be mindful going forward. 🙂 I have sometimes posted twice to show a pullback or other information but we try to keep true to the spirit of the thread.
I think if you are asking for feedback a separate thread is fine.I stepped over that line when I wanted to have feedback on contrasting cropping - Is there sufficient justification for another thread for that type of posting? Or does one have to use the following day?
