Wild Rose And Wind Belt
20 years ago the Calgary Zoo closed its Polar Bear exhibit and I was absolutely delighted. More recently the zoo bought into the alarmist view that Glowbull warming would kill most of the Polar Bears and used that prediction as an excuse to open a new expanded version sometime this year. Of course since that dire prediction the Polar Bear population has exploded, completely shattering the pretext for reopening that sad part of the zoo's history.

My other two polar bear shots from the early 70s. I can still hear the anguish in her voice.
