A Pileated Woodpecker doing what it does best. The Pileated Woodpecker is a loud and it sounds like a hammer depending on the type of wood and they sure can make huge holes in trees.

The little , local , non chain places are the best! The place in my image has been there since right after WW2 . Supposedly , it was originally at the 1939 World's Fair in NYC and was moved to its' current site sometime after .Been there LOTS of times , my place to go for sliders .
