So many have forgotten, that we have just lived through a 3 year replay."Medical" indeed, never forget.
It’s been over 50 years since we moved to Toronto, I remember watching the Tower being built, incredible engineering feat, they developed a technique to pour and cure the cement faster than normal to finish in record time. The elevator ride up to the restaurant and observation decks is an experience by itself, they are on outside with lots of glass! Lots of new buildings I don’t recognize.CN TOWER, Main Observation Level, Atop Lookout - ⭕️ 360° Views - 346 Meters [1,136 feet] Above Ground 💫

I know I will never get see this horrific place, but my wife and I spent a whole day at the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC. Very difficult to see and comprehend. We flew to Poland for a few days last week. My picture from yesterday was taken in Auschwitz, this one is probably instantly recognizable to most which is in Birkenau. Many don't realize that Auschwitz and Birkenau are in two different locations about 3km apart.
Always an emotional place to visit. I highly recommend visiting if you can. Not just a bucket list item but to fully appreciate what the Nazis had created and their actions as a result. Just the sheer scale of Birkenau is a surprise to many when you are there to see it.
I took about 400 images on the day between both camps. My first visit was enough years ago that having to regularly change the film in the camera was a thing, digital photography didn't exist.

The one to the right is named Ryan and to the left is Mandi…Goslings! The first ones we've seen around here in several years, so a special delight.....

Thanks! Unfortunately, I think those cute little goslings are now history.....snatched up by one of the various predators we have living around the lake. Yesterday I saw what I think are the same goose couple, but there were no wee ones swimming along behind them.....The one to the right is named Ryan and to the left is Mandi…
Yeah, I should see my self out now…😁
And some serious stuff; nice photo @Clix Pix!
