Yesterday is was a picture of a Farris wheel from the ground, today is a photo of the ground from the Farris wheel

For a massive plane it's amazing how quiet that thing is.
Classic old colour scheme. Normally I wouldn't use that high a shutter speed but being so close to the plane and it was a must have photo it was the safe option. Hence the ISO1250. But on D3S it's not an issue.

.. a surprise catch on an early-morning walk recently --- a northern flicker digging in the ground for breakfast -- and it allowed us to watch. (with my iPad mini 6 camera did what I could to capture the view, with the resulting photo heavily-cropped).
