Some of my extended family on a bike path in the Netherlands. I think I got this following them on a bike. Please feel very open to critique, I don't do photography for a living but I need all the tips I can get

Also- am I attaching this correctly?

Sunrise at a very isolated beach locked in by cliffs and cabbage-tree filled rainforest.
It's a designated nudist beach.

Went bird-banding this morning. Been up since 5am. This one didn't fly away, even when I got up real close!

Nice beach-scape. Dare I say it, the locals wouldn't have been too pleased with you, surely?

Meanwhile - less elegant is the A380:

ISO1600, F/5.6, 1/1600sec, 280mm.

I used a 200-400mm lens with a 1.4x TC on it - and for anything of A380 size, it was actually too much lens. I had to keep the ISO up because of the wind gusts. And in my ear, I had constant warnings of "caution - wake turbulence".

We didn't encounter any.

Thistles on ice

Some really good photos recently... Joe King, beautiful surf and those captures from Australia, wow. Filmbufs, great post. We wish you many more.
There was a hard frost here last night and I found these frozen Canada Thistles and what looks like chamomile flowers.

1/4 of a second; just enough to blur the water a bit but still keep the sense of motion in the sea.

Another one from my trip.

We camped a metre or two from the Fiord edge in Gerainger, under the clear sky, in around 2ºC. Here's a shot I took quickly before food and beer was served.
