"When you go down to the woods today...."
Very spooky, not dodgy looking at all. Nicely done. Does it look even more ominous in B&W I wonder?
Straight out of a spooky story. Shot on iPhone 6S, HDR enabled.
Good idea Kenoh - I'll have a play and post tomorrow if it looks OK. Thanks again."When you go down to the woods today...."

Hey all, it's been awhile... quite awhile since I've posted here. I figured I'd dip my toes back into this forum. Some really nice pics by everyone.
This shot is from my local beach in Taft, Oregon (south part of Lincoln City.) Siletz Bay is to the left and in the distance looking west is the Pacific.

Wow, lovely work on the bannister! nice contrasts between light and dark. Could you do anything to soften the clipped highlights at the top maybe?
Awesome shot Peter. I love your wildlife shots, they're always so good and inspirational. I love the attitude in this one. Don't mess with that bad boy!
Thanks @kenoh, I turned the highlights down with a mask around that area. Any more and it looked washed out or flat. I think i might have had the focus point on the light instead of the edge of the window. Learning as I go
Wax on, wax off...If Grasshopper is to learn the ways of photo-fu, he must first learn to not get distracted by others on the path to their destiny. He must focus and practice his mantras and techniques. He must learn the ways of the exposure triangle, he must learn that the best images come not from the lens but from the mind. He must unleash the shutter with great fury not but when faced with great beauty of light...

Welcome back btw.
That is a beautiful area of our state.

As suggested by Kenoh, a B&W treatment, albeit of a different shot. I think you were right Ken! Comments always appreciated.
