This guy walked only about 3 metres past me. It’s very intimidating and gets your adrenaline going when you see this happening through a long lens.

A7III with 24-105 F4 at 105mm, +/- 1/3 stop 3 shot bracketed HDR at nominal F8 & 1/125sec. Merged in Lightroom.
Recent typical Autumn afternoon on a trip home to the Wirral ... walkabout in the historic Birkenhead Park, inspiration for and same architect as, NY Central Park.

Yeah, the only time I really want people in my shots is if they are the subject. Hard to do in some places. The hotel lobby was truly delightful -- and even more beautiful than usual, of course, as they had a huge festively-decorated Christmas tree and various decorative items around. I think it was late in the second day when I discovered that typewriter and was immediately enthralled. It demanded that its photo be taken......
