Curius, how can you see that she has a new camera?Ooh, new camera?
Cheers

Thanks! Hooded Mergansers are diving ducks, so it's fun to be watching one calmly moving along and then all of a sudden he or she isn't there -- instead, they've dived under the surface to grab a fish. These two ladies weren't doing much fishing, though, they were just swimming along, occasionally just floating, as the rain pelted down on them and around them. Normally we see Hooded Mergansers in male-and-female pairs, so it was interesting to see just the two females today. Maybe the guys found some sunshine somewhere else!I hope that none of them takes water over their head😁
Nice shot!
A MF camera, no less. Fuji fun! Looks like Santa stopped by a bit early. 🎅yes, I've had it a couple of weeks now. 🙂
the anniversary fairy came earlier this month ❤️A MF camera, no less. Fuji fun! Looks like Santa stopped by a bit early. 🎅
I've been a Nikon shooter since before I joined these boards, and I don't strip out exif (except on film photos since I camera scan them, and it's weird to have a film image with an exif of a Nikon Z6). The exif for my more recent photos is from a Fuji GFX 50s ii, which is obviously not a Nikon. So Hugh surmised that it is a new camera for me. 🙂Curius, how can you see that she has a new camera?
I'm very impressed that you can see that!

The roads through (and around) the Appalachian Mountains in GA, NC, and VA are definitely something we miss now that we're out west. There are plenty of good roads out here but it's just not the same somehow.Been on the Parkway many times in the Boone/Blowing Rock, NC area. The mountains are my family's and I favorite getaway. Where I live in Cary, NC is only about 3 1/2 hours away. I have hiked Grandfather Mountain a good dozen times. Such beautiful country up there.
On some uploaded shots you can click on them and they open in a window that allows you to view the image metadata (EXIF). For some others I have a Firefox extension that shows the EXIF, but unfortunately for most pictures this info is blocked.Curius, how can you see that she has a new camera?
I'm very impressed that you can see that!
Hmm, that fairy must have lost her wallet around here. So is this adding to your collection or did the fairy accept trade-ins?the anniversary fairy came earlier this month ❤️
no trade ins. i’m not switching to fuji, just adding in medium format. 🙂 i do still need a nimble camera for my kids’ sports so keeping all my existing stuff.Hmm, that fairy must have lost her wallet around here. So is this adding to your collection or did the fairy accept trade-ins?
