The winter lighting was really wicked on this roadside memorial. Will have to return to it when it's overcast.
Taken last month when there was some sun. Not seen ANY sun in November yet. Not even 5 minutes.
Lovely pic, I have not seen much due to low lying stratus "almost fog" that by the time it burns off leaves little sun due to the short days.
Thank you. Not even little sun here. Just none at all. Makes photography almost impossible. I took my camera out the other day. I was at 1/125s and f 5.6 (wide open for my 200-500mm). The auto ISO was suggesting 4000. Not going to bother clicking the shutter for that...
Weather was nice for once today in Austin
November and December are the two most depressing months of the year. Role on January.
I love November. Fall color still around for part of it, nice cool weather, 3 paid holidays at work, big giant meal with pumpkin pie, leads up the Christmas season. I guess some of that is relative to where you live. We had some pretty hot days even in October, and it didn't rain at all in September and October. I was ready for the change.
