That old look...

The Dark House

Fantastic old school film look here for a derelict building. I really like the finishing on this.

Hmm... taking a picture of this moment.... you might have been blue.... but this level of gloating likely meant you were also in the the spare room that night... :)

They look like planets orbiting a sun...

Great Salt Lake , taken from someplace along the Antelope Island Causeway . My eye was captured by the kinda strange ground haze that's obscuring some pretty substantial mountains in the distance...the water and sky seemed to morph into one .

Patriotic container?

Yes, in a way..... It's part of an outdoor kiosk sort of building next to the regular post office at the U.S. Postal Service for people who have either mailboxes there at the post office or larger package compartments; this way they can access their mail and/or packages at any time of the day or night regardless of whether or not the post office itself is open. The brilliant red and blue paint caught my eye the other day when I was there.....

Didn’t fancy a dip? I don’t think it’s stopped raining here all weekend for more than an hour or two.
These were taken on Friday when the wind was at its best for shooting big waves, but it wasn't that rough.
Funnily enough there were a couple of teenagers stripped down to their swimming gear and giving it a go, but I didn't think it was fair to photograph them. From the screams I reckon the water wasn't too warm.

Cheers :)

No I think it isn’t wise to photograph teenagers in their swimming gear!
I don’t think it’s ever warm enough in the UK to swim in the sea!
