As a kid, I remember when there was water in the moat but preservation efforts required draining it.

Munich Mist
A calm, still morning with gentle mist over the Englischer Garten in central Munich, Germany. Taken on Monday just after sunrise.

What were you using to photograph them? I was trying to get them over the 4th of July as they were zipping past my home, and they are rather elusive!
Taken this morning. iPhone 11. Someone didn't like this book ?
I was using a Nikon D750 with a 300mm lens. Also did a slight crop. I was in a good spot this year, right at the waters edge where they fly
Been ages since I got out with the camera. Heres an older one. Keep up the good work everyone.
The Norther flicker returns. I wanted to get closer, but a shot through the kitchen window was all I had time for.
