Funnily enough... This afternoon - my first ever attempted dragonfly photo:

On the "Live" versions, the sound of it eating was captured incredibly well.

A darkroom print instead of a film scan today, and a followup to the Target Brownie 6-16 box camera I purchased at an antique shop last week. After shoving a strip of photo paper in the camera and confirming it was working as intended and free of light leaks, I put a roll of normal 120 film in the camera, went around my neighborhood to shoot some random pictures (didn't take long, since the camera can only reliably make 5 exposures on a normal roll of 120 film), and eventually set up my home darkroom equipment today to make a print of one of the pictures. I'm going back to the antique shop tomorrow to gift them a copy of the print, since they were really surprised that I bought the camera to actually use it—other customers only bought stuff like this for decoration, they said. Shot with a Target Brownie 6-16 box camera on Kentmere Pan 100 b&w film, and printed on Ilford Multigrade RC Pearl photo paper.

(Before anyone mentions, I know there's something wrong with my enlarger, which is why the bottom right corner seems to fade out.)

I'm sitting in the infusion room at St. Lukes while my daughter gets her chemotherapy. What a depressing place. People in here like sardines with no privacy while they get their chemo; some of them very sick.

We did get good news today: Tiffany's second bone marrow biopsy showed that her cancer is in remission! This was the news we were hoping for. Now begins the extensive chemo treatment to be certain that all the cancer cells are killed off so she will be getting these infusions in at the Cancer Institute daily and also taking oral chemo at home. This is where she will be very sick. BUT, we are focusing on the good news that the treatment is working as planned/hoped and she is on her way to getting better.

This is on the way to Boise for this round, driving down I-84 near Boise, Idaho.

My heart goes out to you for sharing such a personal ordeal. May she be totally clear soon.
