Careful. A squirrel is just about to take your subject!
I like it!

No berries? I'm surprised you get holly at all where you are.

Nicely done.
Thanks! It was a tough shot to nail, he wouldn't sit still!

You took a simple scene and made a beautiful photograph out of it. Great shot!

Nice. I usually try to keep people out of landscape photos, but in this case works to your advantage. With the two people standing near the arch, it illustrates that the horizon is in fact level with the ground sloping, as the people are standing straight.

That’s a good catch. I’ve been to this location, but it was 30 years ago—I don’t remember everything leaning like that. Maybe a particular viewing angle really emphasizes the slope of the rock layers?

I , too , try to eliminate people from my landscape photos . But I also tend to not shoot with my camera level . When I downloaded the days images that evening , I thought I really screwed the horizons up , but the little people saved me .

Only 2 logical explanations , plate tectonics at work , or geologic upheaval . ;)
I think maybe the use of the relatively long lens accentuated the slope . Here's one from 4 years back taken within a few feet of the above shot , but with a much wider lens ...

There's microscopic people in this one , too . All standing vertically.
