My daughter's school mascot is a snail (which I find hysterical)....I only find teeny tiny ones around my house and would love to find a big one like this.
Oh you are very welcome to come over and relieve the UK of some of them - you can hardly walk anywhere in my garden without accidentally treading on one, no matter how hard you try to avoid them 😂

.. as a early-teen (some many moons ago), I had a cage, and used to collect and hold some large adult ones as 'pets' for a while. A 'now' update: used to see them during my neighbourhood walks here, but for the past several years, have not seen a one -- suspect a pesticide or herbicide has wiped them out around here -- sad, I used to really enjoy seeing them.
