also what the hell is that ipod touch like contraption near the black one. it looks like it has a touch screen touch wheel??

haha i remember all the iphone mockups. most of the people who designed them thought that apple would certainly add a touch screen touch wheel... oh how they were so wrong!

I am NO expert but it doesn't make sense to me that anyone inside Apple would render a picture of a "new" product with the old OS on it. Now I know Leopard isn't officially out yet, but Apple has had it in development for a few years. I mean, even the public has known what Leopard was gonna look like for quite a while now.

I personally like the current Aluminum MBP's anyways. It's going to be hard to make many improvements on that. I think Apple seems to be trying to minimize the use of plastic on their products for recycling reasons anyways.

Oh yeah, and the obviously fake iPod touch. That's OLD too.

Has anyone commented on the high polished metal bottom? I'm sure we have all seen how scratched up the back of the iPods get. What would stop this from scratching like those? Nothing, unless they are made out of tungsten carbide, which would make it weigh no less than 15 lbs.

I also think they are heinous! Way too much gloss and shine. Now, a brushed/sandblasted aluminum in matte black would be nice.

I hate the gloss...and I don't want to see a Glass screen. bleh! puke puke!!

I like the brushed aluminum finish on the current ones but they could modernize them to make to utilitze the improved components and ergonomics.
