HEIC is Apples High Efficiency File system for images taken on iPhones. It is a high quality compression system for themNot sure what that means. Sorry
I see. Not sure about that. I just posted a pic from my phone so it works there but not from my MacBook which is fine. Just glad I can contribute!HEIC is Apples High Efficiency File system for images taken on iPhones. It is a high quality compression system for them

No problem. HEIC format can be used for photos on the iPhone instead of JPEG - HEIC is high efficiency and uses less storage. But not all devices can handle HEIC format - hence my question on your MacBook (I don't own any Mac devices). The issue is described here -Not sure what that means. Sorry
Thank you very much, guys! I thought my device was faulty, since on iPhone 11 Pro Max I hadn't noticed that. Its normal lens distortion,

Right the iPhone 11 Pro max main lens has a 6 element optical image stabilization unit, now the iPhone 12 Pro Max has a 7 element sensor-shift image stabilization unit,Thank you very much, guys! I thought my device was faulty, since on iPhone 11 Pro Max I hadn't noticed that.
That's exactly what I thought! That must be it!Right the iPhone 11 Pro max main lens has a 6 element optical image stabilization unit, now the iPhone 12 Pro Max has a 7 element sensor-shift image stabilization unit,
That extra element could be causing the distortion, or the sensor-shift could be the “problem”...
