I’m sorry to derail the thread, but I just want to ask the pros here if I should take photos in PhotoRAW instead of the default setting? I feel like mine are pixelated trash, and I’ve never dropped my phone or scratched my lenses.

It may help. However, if you find yourself unsatisfied with the quality and limitations you're probably better off making the move to a real DSLR or mirrorless full frame camera. While the iPhone is great for point and shoot, you'll only ever get so far with a pea sized lens and limited sensors.

Can anyone recommend a decent tripod for outdoor night shots?
There certainly are a lot to chose from. I've had a few, but my favorite one has carbon fiber legs and a pistol grip ball head; squeeze the grip and it will swivel instantly to any position then lock in place. Also useful for taking movies. I think I paid about 100 USD on Amazon a few years back. There are certainly better on the market, but it was a good balance.
