Oh wow. I don't even think I'm ugly thanks to the P20 Pro.
I have the same issue attempting to upload photos to the forum that you do. I would imagine it just costs too much for the site to store photos from so many people, especially with file sizes on the latest flagships being so huge. It would be awesome if there was a tool that let us select an option to lower the file size like we can when sending photos via iPhone’s mail app.

Lol, you look great! But the picture is a bit soft. I presume there’s a filter at work causing that. My Samsung does that to me on selfies. I can’t decide if I like that or not. Though I am the one who needs a filter like that, not you young folks!

Whenever I see the harsh looking selfies from my Pixel2, I vow I’m going to either get Botox—(not really, that would eat into my gadget budget ;) and gross, it IS botulism toxin after all ) , cut fringe/bangs back into my hair (cheap, safe and effective), or stick pantyhose over the lens. Mercifully I don’t have to deal with wrinkles yet, except being grumpy has etched two frown lines between my eyebrows. It gives me an awful case of resting b——face. :p

These photos in this thread are awesome. I tried to thumbs up a few but it seems like they didn’t take. I thought for a moment I got banned or something. But it’s just the internet being internetty.

Looking at the various pics I think I love how iPhones do color, almost always accurate to what the eye sees, but it makes me sad how poorly the algorithm deals with noise, losing details in closer examination.

And I’ve decided I need to take another trip out west soon. Vegas and Arizona...gorgeous!

@JPNFRK7 the Pixel 2 did a great job getting the light beam from that pyramid. If memory serves, that’s Luxor. I was inside there almost 20 years ago. I wonder if they’ve changed it a lot since then. Lol, that’s back before I ever heard of Illuminati. Now that’s all young people ever talk about, so I can’t look at Luxor anymore without thinking about Illuminati or oddly enough, Taco Bell. :p

Gotta be in it to win it
How do you A) Take such nice pictures and B) Get those pictures to show up on MacRumors?
Michael,

On an iphone...someone else posted this trick, I'm just repeating it.

  1. Open the photo in the camera roll
  2. Click the edit in the upper right corner
  3. Click the ellipsis in the lower right, then click markup
  4. Make a small editing change like adding a black dot with the highlighter or any other small change and click done, done and done
  5. Photo should be uploadable to MR after that.
  6. You can revert the photo by clicking the edit button and then revert in the lower right
