My fingers are pretty much healed from when I smashed them under something that weighs over 150lbs. Three fractured fingers with the middle still having a splint most of the time (but not for too much longer).

Or, in other words, that's what my right hand looks like right now.

The wide angle lens on the G6 is great though and offers versatility unmatched currently. Both it's sensors by themselves aren't 'the best' individually, but together the combined freedom it offers for composing shots and capturing images you just couldn't get otherwise makes up for areas where it's a little choppy (over sharpening post processing for example)

Lowlight the S8 is better with less noise, but for normal daylight they are much the same. The G6 however jumps ahead in daylight because of the extra wide angle versatility.
