Complete facepalm trying not only create a time lapse of this hard for me to come by storm structure, I also ended up screwing up plan B and that was just take a video clip with my 80d but I couldn't get settings found and then the clip the focus drifted... So in a last ditch effort to get something, I pulled out my XL 3 (this time) that luckily I shoved in my pocket on the way out the door...
