This thread isn't a contest though, I get that people don't like being duped but there's no reason why you couldn't upload an edited photo here anyway, it's just about photos.

Oh, I see, that's a bit sad! I suppose you can always use Preview to remove location information and preserve the rest, or as I just noticed , when it's edited that also strips position info.
In-phone edit, strips position info (I hope, but if not, whatever!) or dump position info with Preview. Retains camera / shot info. Huawei P40 Pro.
Note 10+ no editing besides horizon leveling.

I think the spirit of this thread isn't straight from camera shots necessarily. Even with my Mirror less cameras, I rarely use a photo without a few minor tweaks in lightroom.
No I don’t think it is either. I’ve edited photos before when I’ve posted. In snap seed or whatever. I just like seeing what people can do with smartphone photography as there have been some really great snaps in here over the years.I do prefer the lightly edited version of the photos.

I am just a point and shoot guy...If I edit something I will say I edited it so people know the shot just did happen on its own I helped it look the way it does

Agree! The doggos were at Formby beach here in the cold UK! It was actually a really nice day. Very windy but the dogs absolutely loved it. ?For me personally I don't care if anyone edits their snaps or not. I just like seeing all the different photos.
