I think we are now getting into an area where is iPad is a bit over matched. I feel the iPad is a limited "creation" device and personally believe photo editing is one area that belongs on a platform with full capability, utilizing a properly equipped laptop or desktop.

Yes, I agree. But based on what i see in the Adobe Ideas app they created. They could come up a useful "light" version of Photoshop that could be quite useful. As a long time Photoshop user, I would be interested to see what they come up with.

Seems that most people want Lightroom. I think this makes sense, especially with the camera connection kit that supports RAW and the IPS display tech. Now only if we could calibrate it...

I would prefer Lightroom as well. I already use Lightroom on my MBP, and so if I could for example do some basic things with photos on my iPad (e.g. keywords and basic levels) and then upload it to Lightroom, that would be really great.
