hmmm, interesting deal. So, they will take any verizon smart phone trade? Like an old htc thunderbolt ? Yes, I still have it...the first phone with LTE.

Love your pup, decent pics on that Droid.

Camera was important to me.....
I traded an old beat up BB Bold 9650! They gave me $100 for it then the promo deal for new 2 year contract is #100. So the Turbo 32GB for $199 w/contract was free. Just paid $16 in taxes.
I am sure your thunderbolt is worth more than the BB i traded in.....
But it has to be a VZW phone and in working order. They did not even want the charger....just the phone.
Antutu score is good but thought it might be better.

Sweet! How many Verizon lines do you have for yourself now? I currently have 4, plus 1 T-mobile prepaid for playing with a GSM phone. I think we all have some serious phone addictions!

I have 3 lines on Verizon and 2 on AT&T........

LOL, you guys are NUTS. All those lines just for yourselves?
Question,.......... wouldnt it be cheaper to have a family plan......for yourself? lmao

I do have a family plan, it would be insanely expensive otherwise! I also get a pretty big percentage discount (25%) from my job.

I get a discount through my employer as well......
Not a business account either.

Mine isn't a business account either, but when the reps see the number of phones I have on there they often ask me if it is. Happened to me when picking up my Note 4 actually. Which reminds me, I should really update my rotation in my sig...

Of course I checked it out yesterday.

But I have the G3, Note 4 and 2nd.gen Moto X and ...

I have not been committed yet, interventation is certainly lurking. :)

I Will not even mention the tablets I tried in the last month and another one next week. GEEZ!

The 2nd gen Moto X is out? Is that the X+1? I read it only has a 2300 mah battery....which is too small, is that true? Thanks.....i havent been keeping up too well this time around as to which ones are coming out when.

They are in a family plan! :p

OK, cool on the family plans. I know some people love new tech so much, i just think it is bizzarro to have so many at once but to each their own. Glad i have self contol. I got a invite for the OPO in my email and still didnt get it. It says once i activate the invite i have 24 hours and i havent but i doubt it is still good.

*sigh* I'm looking longingly at the Nexus 6.....I know I've re-committed to the iPhone, but these other phones just look so enticing.....

If I were on VZW, I'd think long and hard about this one as well.

My poor wife.....lol :D

Well see, im not interested in the iPhone and the N6 is too big so those are out for me. Ill get a new one at some point and give my N5 to the Wife as her phone needs to be replaced and then i think ill pickup a Windows phone cheap and ill be done for a year at least.

Considering I won't be using the Nexus 6 as a daily driver and it's only slightly taller (though a bit wider) than the iP6+, I think I can manage the size.

It is thick though....

I'd use it as more of a window into Android/small tablet. I like to keep a foot in the ecosystem. Nexus devices fit that bill well.

According to the phonearena review, the screen is still pretty dim at full brightness. Even worse than the S4 i used to have. I could barely see that thing outside.

What do you think OP?

Its definatly not as good as my Note 4. But not bad by any stretch of the imagination.

You mean Z3V*

I almost got the Z3v thother day. But while i was looking around I tried the Z3v camera and compared the pictures to my N4. The Z3v camera was very inconsistent. Some pics looked great while others looked faded or out of focus.
This was without changing anything other than what i was pointing at. It was weird how big the contrast between pictures taken seconds apart at the same pictures on the wall at the store. Eliminated it for me right there....

We both have 5, sweet! It makes me feel better that someone else has the same situation, anytime I go to get a new phone the person looks at my account and asks why I have so many phones, or if this is a small business account!

Btw, I was tempted to get the Turbo if I had not ordered the Nexus 6. The Turbo actually looks really good, what the Moto X 2014 should have been in my opinion.
I have 9 lines, I think I have a phone addiction

Lol....nah.....

By the way - would someone please let Jamezr know I'd love to somehow get off his ignore list? There have been quite a few instances recently where I really wanted his opinion and he's got me on ignore for a relatively petty argument we had.

I promise to be civil ;)

Clearly I am phone shopping wrong. I have 1 line and buy them outright. I think I had 8-10 this year :O

I would never buy a phone that was tied to a carrier. Every phone I've ever bought was unlocked, sim-free and paid outright for cash.

9 lines is impressive!

With my 4 phones and 3 tablets (one of the iPads belongs to my fiancé) on my Verizon family plan I pay about $230 per month after my discounts from work.

Thanks for posting the pic, a little hard tell with no comparison, but yeah the test results don't look too promising.

For most people its ok, but at work I'm always walking across campus and its a pain trying to read a dim screen outside.

I'm curious to know where they sourced this screen from.
