It looks that way even on the device itself, but is just as evident on a monitor as well.

I’m new to live photo, I randomly takes photo to test the camera and some how it made it to a live photo rather than a still photo. How do I disable it?
Tap on the circle icon in the camera app (too centre). If it’s yellow, then Live Photos is activated, if it’s white then it is disabled.
They're fun, they give you a chance to capture moments just before a press of the shutter (think, lightning strikes, that sort of thing) and if you live in a country where the iPhone makes a ridiculous shutter sound even if it's on silent mode (Japan and Korea, for example) the shutter sound is MUCH more discreet than a non-Live Photo.Any benefits to live photos?
