i didn't even know the iPad Air would have this feature, but when I did I had so much fun watching movies/tv shows from the videos app and videos on safari. Hopefully YouTube will do the same thing!
Yeah.. Pretty indicative.I think this is going to be so useful with not only the current iPad's but also the rumoured iPad Pro, i think this is (i could be wrong tho ) is a BIG indication that there will be a bigger iPad.
Very excited to try this, and the split screen offering - having a football stream and twitter open (to moan about players) will be brilliant.
I've only recently bought the iPad Air 2 and I'm so glad I decided not to cheap out and buy the IA1, I'd be kicking myself right now
I wouldn't be interested in a 12 inch iPad, After trying a Samsung Galaxy Note tablet and having a Surface Pro 3 for work, for me it isn't worth the weight and size hassles.I think this is going to be so useful with not only the current iPad's but also the rumoured iPad Pro, i think this is (i could be wrong tho ) is a BIG indication that there will be a bigger iPad.

Does it work with the official YouTube App?
Does it work with the official YouTube App?
Yeah, works fine.
Yeah, works fine.
YouTube is probably going to be a pain about implementing this feature because they have whiny content owners who insist on having their content viewed a certain way on mobile devices. How have you gotten it to work in the YouTube app? So far I can only get it to work on videos that use the traditional iOS video pane
I'm guessing he's using the YouTube mobile website and not the YouTube app.How have you gotten it to work in the YouTube app? So far I can only get it to work on videos that use the traditional iOS video pane
No it doesn't work lol
So for picture in picture, is this something that app devs can use in their apps, say for instance Netflix etc?
When I watch twitch video as main app and open PIP the twitch stream pauses
Considering the device only has one hardware video decoder, I would't expect it to play two videos at once.
Not yet because developers needs to app some minor coding (as was mentioned in the Apple presentation with Slide Over) to support e.g. Slide Over and PIP.
The developers need to add some coding to their apps to support PIP. As was mentioned in the Apple presentation Twitter did it in a few minutes to support Slide Over i don't know if it is also so easy with PIP.
And...?Tell this to Samsung who have introduced this features with their „brand new“ Galaxy S3
