I live on a farm, where we grow hops. we produce 50tonns of hops each year (sometimes even more!)
for 100L of beer you need 6grams of hops. Slovenia (where I live) uses around 25tonns of hops per year. beat that!

anyway, I drink these:

Gonna have one of these babies after I'm done with my last final at 4:30 today! I know it's not Irish but at least it's alcohol right St. Patrick?

I drink any type of beer as I don't care but this can be considered as one of my favorites. Took the photo for a project

It is excellent beer! There are soooo many good stout's out there. Guinness is just one of the most popular! Get some!!!!!! If you can find it, get the extra drought! Oh yeah!

Don't forget Rogue. They have a wealth of delicious stouts! mmm, double chocolate stout...

Do not buy Guiness in a bottle. It's ****ing revolting! Get it in a can, it's the closest to draught to you can get.

Is this a local brew? If you ever come across Pelican Brewer "Scottish Ale" it is one of the best I have had. Very full flavored!!! Oh man I miss me some "Scottish Ale"

No, it's actually imported but I can't find it in Virginia anymore. Whenever I go to Orlanda to Disney, I stop by King's Marketplace and buy out their stock.

I've never heard of Pelican before, but I'll for sure keep an eye out for it.

So, I bought a four-pack of Guinness to share with some folks. I was not disappointed. However, it's not something I would make my go-to drink when at a bar. Too heavy to knock back multiple times a night LOL. It was good though!

never seen it around liverpool before, but it could become a new fav. other than that, becks, and holsten pils

This is true. The cans are much better than the bottles, though extra stout doesn't come in a can (not here anyway). Guinness on tap goes down dangerously easily. :D

Have to represent WI. Good Stuff.

Speaking of Guiness, have you guys ever had this: I find it 10 times better, but with a bit less of a bitter aftertaste.
