It's on the Gulf Coast too. Been in this area for a few weeks now.

great to know :D

I always thought Sam Adams was a big beer company because it's huge in New England but went to California and they didn't have it. Was kind of sad. this one is from Maine so I doubted they had it outside of this part of the country.

Yein ling is good from PA but we don't get it in New England. When I go down to PA for work I usually bring a case down with me.

I had never heard of Yuengling till I moved to the Gulf Coast - cant get it out on the West Coast. Grew up drinking Stone Brewery and Alabama just got them so I am a happy beer drinker once again!

Blue Moon, currently my favorite!

wow. yingling (spelled wrong on purpose) is the least of all the beer i've tried.

i cannot stress that enough.

but what really surprises me is that you don't have it. it is everywhere i go.

Yuengling is great for three reasons: 1) It's a regional thing so you can't get it everywhere and that makes it cool or a nice treat for folks like me. 2) It's cheap 3) it actually tastes great and it's nothing crazy or wild. Just solid and flavorful. I wish I had some right now.

-1, 66%

It does not taste great. Aftertaste reminds me of hairspray.

See me after class for extra credit.

Magic Hat #9...favorite recent beer discovery.

"A book hasn't caused me this much trouble since Where's Waldo went to that barber pole factory!"

I just watched that episode last night :p

When I went to Israel for birthright, the best beer I had over there was Goldstar beer. I only found it in Philly at The Foodery in Northern Liberties. Can't find it for the life of me in Denver!

And that's the Maccabee beer, a lager.

I think I've had that once. Dark lager, right? Pretty good if I recall. I remember it kind threw me because my TV at the time was manufactured by a company named Goldstar.

Ah thanks. I was half expecting Maccabee to be honest, only thing that made sense.

Allagash Merveilleux. An excellently delicious Wild Ale with Brett aged in Bourbon and Wine oak barrels. Great balance. Thanks to a friend who got it in Maine as a gift!
