So I've only tried two Stouts ever.. One being the Guinness Extra Stout and the other being Sam Adams' Cream Stout.. Both were fine, I preferred the Cream Stout a tad bit more.. Is there any real good stouts that I should keep an eye out for?
There is a terrific stout which goes by the moniker 'Old Tom' which would rank - to my palate - as possibly the best stout that I have ever had the pleasure to sample and savour.
'Old Carolus' is also one I am rather partial to, as is the 'Harviestoun' range. Personally, I am also exceedingly partial to the 'Innis & Gunn' range and their 'Irish Whiskey Cask' beer is reminiscent of a rather excellent stout.
