In a coffee shop.
So I've only tried two Stouts ever.. One being the Guinness Extra Stout and the other being Sam Adams' Cream Stout.. Both were fine, I preferred the Cream Stout a tad bit more.. Is there any real good stouts that I should keep an eye out for?

There is a terrific stout which goes by the moniker 'Old Tom' which would rank - to my palate - as possibly the best stout that I have ever had the pleasure to sample and savour.

'Old Carolus' is also one I am rather partial to, as is the 'Harviestoun' range. Personally, I am also exceedingly partial to the 'Innis & Gunn' range and their 'Irish Whiskey Cask' beer is reminiscent of a rather excellent stout.

I will keep an eye out for those, thanks for the recommendations! :D

I had my try at a Guinness Draught the other day and honestly it was perhaps one of the worst I've ever tried. It just didn't have any flavor, smelled a bit funky.. etc. I think it was because the can was extremely frosted so maybe that impacted the taste a bit.. Still, it'd be a long while before I dare try it again.

I recently also had Dale's Pale Ale:

It tasted much more like an IPA then an APA personally. It felt really strong and I felt there was too much to taste that I really couldn't pinpoint the flavors all that much. Not much aroma either. Still a great beer, but not one of my favorites unfortunately.

If you ever get to israel. Highly recommend the entire jems line. There factory is petach tikva right next to tel aviv. The beer is great and so is the restaurant, definitely a worth while stop if your in tel aviv or have time on the way to the airport.

American Craft Beer week at the Brass Tap in pembroke Pines, Fl. I think I like the 120 better than the Hopslam.

Ok so I've got to try a few over the past few days..

The first of which I truly loved, is actually a Porter..

This one has become an absolute favorite almost immediately. I have never tried something so perfect. I absolutely loved every sip. I originally heard of Fuller's by coming across one of the old James May commercials and thought why not try it? I still have yet to try their London Pride, but one day I shall. :)

I have to say, I think Sam Adams might just be my favorite brewery.. Now I've tried a few other Irish Ales before, but I think this one took the cake for me. Lots of toasty and roasted notes.. Really balanced and a bit more of the sweeter malts are prevalent.. Definitely will drink again.

Now here's one I had doubts on.. but I had to wonder why after drinking one of these done. This was perfect! The aroma really was refreshing.. reminded me of the beach almost (I know its weird), but every sip had me wanting to take another. It really was delicious!

So that concludes my update.. I plan on branching out of Sam Adams on my next run to the market. I still need to hit those Stouts and I have a list of some other beer to try that a friend recommended me.

*Note, the above photos are not mine.
