I use a backpack when going shopping, so far it's not inconvenient.

Yeah, been there, done that, but 50 years a motorcyclist, and 55 a cyclist (since I was about 7) I have long since learned to have the bike carry the load, not the body. Here's my daily ride in touring mode (on Yao Yai & Noi Islands in Phang Nga Bay, Thailand, and as a commuter on the campus where I work.

A few pictures from a long weekend break we had in Scotland.

The Bronson resting in the pub beer garden after a hard couple of days riding over the Innerleithen Golf Club.

The riding was steep and very technical and there were quite a few 'moments'. He actually managed to hit all three of the trees in shot.

Happy to share my Simoncini Aero Dynamics Special Professional from 1984. The first flat tube made by Simoncini for a special order for a friend of my, a cycling enthusiast. The frame is hand made, and the rest of the parts are full vintage Campagnolo Record.

It used to be an SL3 with DI2 shifting, but not now. It's heavily upgraded after I completely rebuilt it from a bare frame. Out of the bikes I have, this one is the one that is really dialled in. I love it and wouldn't swap it for anything else.

Here'so my commuter, trails and touring bike. A 1992 Trek 950, fork was replaced with a Surly LHT fork about 5 years ago. I first built it up with a Moustache bar back in 1997, and in 2003 replaced it with a drop bar. Rides very nice with either the Nashar Street wise 26" x 1.5" tires or with the Pasela 26" x1.75".
