got rid of the grandkid and replaced her with a cars Junior bag
Specialized RockHopper Medium.
Love this bike, custom grips to match the brand label. It’s going as soon as I can sell it for 2 reasons:
Mountain bike gearing is too slow for city riding, and bottom bracket issues - stripped and replaced then retightened.
Don’t know if this is me as I had this issue on other bikes years ago when I last rode. Curious if the Shimano GRX open but bottom bracket eliminates this issue.
Looking for the Giant Fastroad SL2 this Christmas.

I've ordered the 900 AXS, but can give you a quick review of the Spark 910 already. My uncle got the 910 a few weeks back and I could compare it back to back with my current gen Scott Genius.
Jumping from the Genius to the new Spark, the first thing you notice is the seating position. On the Spark, you sit more upright. This helps keep the bike much more planted when climbing, compared to my Genius which happily lifts its front end when pushing uphill.
The Spark is crazy efficient. I left it in Open mode throughout my testing. The suspension setup appears to be an improvement over the previous design. On the previous models the pedal bob is a bit too much in Open mode and I find myself constantly having to switch to Traction Mode (which effectively raises the BB) only to avoid pedal strikes. With the new one I didn’t have that problem, which is great.
Putting the Spark in Traction, or Lockout mode, it becomes a rocket! It's crazy fast!
Overall it really represents the next generation of bikes from Scott. I was super impressed. The 900 AXS that I ordered will come with wireless gears, other than that it's very similar to the 910.

Here my main-machine, Scott Addict RC Pro (around 7.2kg with pedals)
Here is our second Scott Addict, but with a motor so that my girlfriend can ride with me on all the climbs around
And this is my "fun" and XC/marathon race bike (I had trail MTBs before but I enjoy going up as much as, or even more, going down), Specialized Epic Evo, around 10.3kg with pedals
Unfortunately with the horrible weather right now, the only bike that gets action is the Scott road bike, on rollers in my cellar (doing Zwift rides)
Here my main-machine, Scott Addict RC Pro (around 7.2kg with pedals)
Here is our second Scott Addict, but with a motor so that my girlfriend can ride with me on all the climbs around
And this is my "fun" and XC/marathon race bike (I had trail MTBs before but I enjoy going up as much as, or even more, going down), Specialized Epic Evo, around 10.3kg with pedals

The RockHopper was sold back in early November to a happy father for his son, so I knocked off $350 off my asking price. Everyone happy.
Deposit was placed in October and with pandemic delay's I was expecting my new bike to arrive next month but it arrived and picked it up yesterday.
Sweet sexy bike yet with so much salt and snow still on roads I'm not risking a wipeout so on the look for an indoor trainer until late spring this year.

I'm a big fan of them, as far as I'm concerned the more people out on bikes the better.
I personally don’t want one, but May need one in my elder years just to maintain some form of pleasure self independence when I cannot drive anymore nor pedal decently. I’d rather use a bike than a walker if I’m able after 69y old.
I think mountain or full trail eBikes have a better use case than road bikes. An e-road bike just helps those capable for pedalling on their own just super lazy.
However, as someone mentioned the more bikes on the road the better.

Wow Scott really did a great job hiding the battery and electric motors. I cannot tell the difference between your Blue one from the silver one.
What roller do you use on the addict?
