2013 Jetta TDI Premium with Navigation for my girlfriend. With the rising cost of gas, a clean diesel is not only fun to drive but gets us great gas mileage. Our other fun vehicle is a 2011 GTI (APR tuned).

the jetta looks nice, any pics of the GTI...please :)

Yes...I know that. Just joking, but alas, I see nothing of interest in Infiniti. The rest at least have interesting models (except Lincoln or Cadillac), my opinion of course.

Infinitis remind me of plastic surgery, and it never looks natural or good.

I did mess up the quote though, "An Infiniti is just a Nissan with lipstick." ;-)

Which is why seeing an I30, I35, G20, and QX4, I feel it's just a Nissan. Especially the first 3. The QX4 looks slightly different than a Pathfinder though.

PS, for a while, the G35 coupé and sedan were sold as the Nissan Skyline in Australia.

Bad analogy. While the outside appearance is similar, underneath the cars are quite different.

Nice job on the facelift. You're bold for going for those cheapo ebay headlamps!

Thanks!

lol, yeah, I've had several people tell me that now.

Thing is, I haven't seen a single E46 with these headlights here in Denmark yet, so that was one of the reasons for picking these. The light output on these is far superior to the stock halogen ones I've had, although they're of course not as good as original xenons. IMO they dramatically change the look of the front of the car, making it look newer and more modern than it actually is.

I've just installed a aftermarket xenonkit instead of the standard halogen bulbs, and the light output is SO much better. And not even blinding anyone either, so that's a win/win for everyone.

Interesting headlights, not something I've seen before. The square corona rings remind me of the F12 6-series' LED headlights:

What does the eyebrow above the lights do?

MkV Golf GTI 4 door.

My daily car. This was taken just when enjoying good drive in Wasatch Mountains.

Yeah they actually look pretty similar.

The eyebrow on my headlights really doesn't do anything, except light up in a orange'ish color with the parking lights (the square rings).

Unless it's a really bright and sunny day, the parking lights works just fine for DRL, as especially the rings are really, really bright.

That's just silly. Shouldn't name a car the same that has a different drivetrain...especially when it was such a hailed and iconic car.

It's the same thing in Japan.

In Japan, R32/33/34 Skylines are just crappy old cars that nobody wants. They aren't any more storied than any crummy kei car driving around.

How about g37 coupe and Altima coupe ... Both look similar but underneath completely different suspension, drive train, horse power and torque

What about the QX56, QX4, I3x and G20?

----------

mine, it's a 77 Oldsmobile Delta 88.

looking into upgrading, 10 mpg is not very nice lol.

It is in amazing condition. it was my great grandpas, who passed it down to my grandpa, who just recently passed it down to me. I just hit 50k miles the other day.

Wow, that is relatively low milage, isn't it?

Can we have more pictures please? :D

That's because the G37 isn't based on the Altima, it's based on the 370Z. It was the same story with the G35 being based on the 350Z.

95% of the parts in my I30 come from a Nissan Maxima. It is also cheaper to get parts at the Nissan dealership than the Infiniti dealership even though they have the same exact part numbers and Nissan stampings.

01 Audi A6 2.7T (twin turbo) Quattro AWD good for 250hp stock and I have it chipped with a turbo back exhaust now has around 330hp at the crank. Next mods are coilovers and turbo upgrade.

Edit: BTW those vertical lines are not scratches they are rain drops, I took this pic in the rain with my lifeproofed 4S. Just after spending 3hours washing and waxing it. :/

I know what it was based on, I own a G37. I was speaking in terms of looks alone
