Yep

Those are slightly larger bore to accommodate the additional gasses from the supercharger.

But otherwise they all came like that.

Been awhile since I posted in here but anyways:

Sold the Bimmer back in June and bought this 2004 Deville. Got tired of the cramped interior, lack of power, and hard ride. I enjoyed it while I had it but I'm glad to be back in a Cadillac. It's Light Platinum over Graphite leather. I paid $5k for it and it had 106k miles and brand new tires. It has so far needed two wheel hubs, a/c recharge, oil change and a motor mount. Not bad.

I never got the obsession with bike racks, personally. Not sure why anyone thinks some clunky steel bars on top of a car makes it look better.

Same reason people like most visual changes, which people associate as being visually pleasing because they did it, not because of taste.

I saw an old Merc wagon that was tastefully modified with a top rack delete, and it looked GREAT.

IMO, it ruins the lines of a nice looking car. It's like dressing up in a suit then putting on a hiking backpack.

Roof racks are popular on cars because it makes them "look sportier" apparently. So it makes a statement that if you carry bikes on your car, then you might be an athletic person. Well, that or because people buy cars the way the dealer sells them. In the US, new cars are stocked on dealer lots - so if you want say a new Jetta, you go to a dealer that has a couple dozen Jettas. Worst case, you find a blue one that happens to be your favorite color with a manual transmission and the nav radio, but they tacked a $200 roof rack onto it and want $500 more now.

Then you haggle it down, tell them you don't even want the roof rack, and pay less than the retail price for the car anyway lol. But sometimes people see it and they're like "oh cool, I've been wanting one of those!"

Who knows, maybe they use it to tie christmas trees to the roof of the car right? XD
