Great looking cars.

Yeah. Just realized I can't spell when you quoted me.

Also interested in the FR-S, Jeep Wrangler, Genesis Coupe, Forte Koup and a few others. I guess whatever I can get for a good deal would be the best option. Maybe narrow it down to a few then go from there.

Didn't even notice the spelling haha.

Those are all great cars. My family has a '10 forte at the house with about 8k miles and it's been a great car. I have also been in/around a lot of FRS'BRZ's and they are very cool.

Deciding will be hard. If I had it my way and won the lottery, I would buy a car for everyday of the week :p

Not as sexy as my Audi but it's half the payment and for as little as the wife drives it the cash savings will be nice.

I tried to hold off as long as I could with my old car (a 2005 Mazda3 hatchback), but my desire to have AWD and something new got the best of me. This weekend I bought a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek.

It's not really that much bigger of a vehicle than my old car, it just sits off the ground 4 more inches and has AWD, along with a lot of new technology inside. I never planned to own a brand new car, but I figured what the hell.

How is the backseat legroom on that thing, and cargo space? My dad's looking at one for the family car possibly, would be what I learn on mostly.

The leg room is okay in the back. I'm fairly tall, 6'1". With my driver seat in the position I like, I can sit in the rear passenger seat with my knees barely rubbing on the back of the driver seat. I wouldn't want to sit back there for a long trip, but it would be fine around town.

I think the leg room would be adequate for kids and teenagers, but 4 adults (5 would be too cramped in the back) would feel a little tight. It's extremely rare I have more than myself in my car so the leg room wasn't as big a concern for me. If/when I have kids, this car will easily get me through the first 10 years of their life; by then I'll probably be ready for a new car anyways.

Storage is adequate for 2-3 peoples worth of travel supplies. I do not think the truck area could fit luggage for 4 people.

So I'm guessing maybe the Outback might be a better daily driver for 4 people riding around? I'm 6'3" and in my mom's current '06 CR-V my knees are in the back of the seat in front of me. We're looking for something to replace that as the family car that has better gas mileage and slightly more room.
