Love my GTI. No, it's not diesel. Went from a Smart FourTwo to this. My wife got a new Passat, we liked it so much when it was time to get a new one for me I looked at Volkswagen. Almost got an Eos...

Not my actual one but looks exactly like this. Love this thing! It's so fun to drive, great space for a small family, and head turner in town.

Mine: 2008 Charger R/T

This is my 3rd Charger and I can't get enough (Well, I can, because my next car will be a Challenger instead). I have intake, exhaust, T-Stat, tune, strut brace and a few other little goodies on her. Here are a few pictures of her. She has the 5.7L V8, so she is a blast to drive.

More pics of the R.. with my friend's 30 Edition GLI. Lots of new stuff. Plastidipped the emblems, front and back. Got rid of the chrome strip on the grill. New LED tails. Got the paint sealed and ready to wax. Put on my Forge BOV. Lots of work to do still. :)

I was at an Audi club event at Sonoma Raceway last weekend.

both look great - i was at my dealer the other day and they had an oryx one, nice car and what i would get, the $2k vw loyalty makes it tempting right now. just not sure its my style after years of muscle cars?

It's a really fun car, but you need to forget about that style thing. It's 2 boxes stuck together and it has very little style. It's very practical, provides daily driver comfort, is completely unassuming, and it goes like stink. Here's the first bit of a session Sunday afternoon (I was having camera issues). The B8.5 S4 behind me eventually passed me. No one else did.

Until today, this was my first car! :) ....

Next car will show up in March/April. Although not my type of car, it'll be the perfect compromise of economy and fun! Moreover, it's too good of a deal to pass up.

And here it is! I've been messing around in this little bastard since April! It's a Mini Clubman SD (that's a diesel Mini, for you americans), Hampton Edition. Fully loaded except satnav.

Had you asked me a year ago, I would have said that the Mini was nothing other than a hairdressers accessory/girls car and left it at that. Moreover, it was front-wheel drive and would obviously understeer like a pig.
Having owned this car for 6 months, I couldn't have been more wrong. I have grown to love this little car. The steering feel in this car is one of the best I've experienced yet. It's right up there with my uncle's old Porsche Boxster RS60 Spyder! Whereas the BMW felt like a dead fish, the Mini communicates and encourages you to explore the limits. On any type of winding road, it would demolish my old BMW. The Mini makes you go two more laps around the roundabouts. It makes you lift your foot and induce lift-off oversteer. It makes you pull the handbrake through corners. I swear, I'm completely innocent in this... :D

And the best thing is, when you're done messing around, you can easily return 40mpg. And, being a Clubman, I can actually fit my bike in the boot or plenty of luggage.

...There is only one problem. It's an auto, and I really miss rowing through gears sometimes.
