If somebody within a reasonable distance from me has headaches with this, it's what I have done part time since 1999. I could tell these people to go get a Mac, but then I would lose my living so I tip my hat off to Bill who gave hundreds of thousands of us jobs from bench techs to software engineers making this "thing" less painful.

I work for one of my profs right now, helping out his grad student so I spend part of my time as a lab tech/machinist and part of it translating/typesetting course notes. Taking pictures of explosions like this :

To give you a better idea, we calibrate it with a candle :
