Our Kitchen computer I built mainly for my wife. She occupies the kitchen a lot more than I do. I can cook a little, but she's a really good cook, almost a chef. This is a little dual core atom system located on top of the fridge- it runs OSX and Windows 7. She uses it mainly to access recipes and the web, and watch movies and TV while she's in the kitchen.

Not much to see of the rest of the kitchen. It's small, but not nearly as much as pictures make it seem. I like that the nuker is actually hidden in a cabinet above the oven. (Here seen open.) There was nowhere else to put it, so that worked out nicely. I had to drill some holes to run the wiring down to the outlet above the range top.

Looks like we have the same taste. This shot was taken after the cabinets/counter top were complete and appliances put back (the remodel was a 'reface'. I didn't have a proper 'slide in' setup so I purchased the optional mini-backspash and one side panel to make it a hybrid slide-in/free standing range :D. I have a before/after post earlier in this thread.

Very nice kitchen. I still have to put up a backspash (and it's going on 5 years!!!). I too plan to use tile. Never done that before, was it very difficult?

Im not a stereotype, but the best chefs in the world are actually men hehehehe :D

I have always said this, the one simple fact that supports this statement as the truth is this. Women have periods, during which their tastes change thus changing the outcome of how the food tastes.

Here is our before and after... The cabinets are the same just re-stained. All new appliances and counter tops/backsplash.

Very very nice. I think some stainless steel handles on the cabinets would really add a finishing touch.

You can tell we (that is, my family) really really like white. :D Someday, I'm going to get a nifty induction stove and put glass counters in..

but white cabinets are staying. :D
