And managed to get some gardening & planting on done this morning; as much as my broken body can take for now... 12 days and counting until my op!























Greenhouse is busy with toms, peppers, chilis, courgettes & cucumbers as well as a few small potatoe pots growing on; herbs too

Fruit trees are heavy with blossom which smells fantastic

Raised bed number 1 is now sprouting with parsnips, carrots & beetroot. The main raised bed will be for kalettes, courgettes to be planted on as well as a few 2nd yield of potatoes for later on in the year

The pinot grape vine in the greenhouse is booming as usual; it needs to be cut back in a bit to thicken the bunches to a few good ones rather than lots of small ones, and the cutting that I planted 2 years ago is taking well on next doors garage wall too

Seals at Ano Nuevo point, just north of Santa Cruz, CA. They are there to molt their fur for a few weeks.

This is a closeup of a small section of molted fur. It was hard to capture a macro shot because it was so windy.

We've had a lot in the ground for the last few years; but it's a constant battle between you, the birds and mice 😂

So I've popped them into a terracotta planter this time around, will see how that fairs
