Although the detail and color rendition are far better with the dslr, the iphone shot isn't to shabby considering it's a phone.

Thanks and bought it. For $7.00 worth the price to test it. Halide was always good until they went subscription, yeah hard pass on that.Thank you… the Moment app is nice, no subscription, just a one time buy with other in app purchases. For the moon shot, I had the iPhone on a tripod and lowered the iso all the way down and raised the shutter speed until I liked the detail I saw on the moon. Here is a screenshot of the settings. Hopefully you’ll be able to try it soon. If you have Any questions, let me know…

Nice comparison and Dslr takes this easily still if you do full screen but iPhone easy to carry.

Yes 5x, Just hold down the volume up button. It is not a substitute for a dslr due to how it focuses.Do you (or anyone actually) actually have any "burst" mode iPhone 15PM action/sports shots at 5X? Just wondering how good it is at capturing outdoor action shots. That's the probably the sole reason I would upgrade. I hate carrying my DSLR around to my son's baseball games.

Just saying it will work in a pinch but if you are trying for in focus pics for action it will not be totally up to the task vs dslr or mirrorless.
