Any Pro got some tips on how to avoid those annoying green dots on your photos / videos at night? I feel like this started with iPhone X and has gotten worse ever since. I never noticed it on my 7 Plus for example. Is it due to the camera lens alignment? I always tilt around the phone like an idiot to have the green dot at least hide behind something brighter so it is not as easy to see compared to it being in the middle of a black spot

Don’t point the camera at a light source in the dark, is the perfect answer. Otherwise, you need to change your angle to the subject (by moving with your feet) to avoid the lens flare.

Nice candid shot.

If you use a third-party app, like Halide, or ProCam, or Moment, the 5X camera does work good when hard selected by one of these third-party apps in low light. What issues do you normally see when Using the 5X camera in low light? I do know that if it’s too dark, the 1x Camera takes over and crops at a 5X equivalent to make it look like you’re shooting with the 5X. I am also enjoying the 5x Camera.

Seems to be a bit noisy and not as well resolved as the primary in low light. It’s not terrible, just behaves differently than the main in less than ideal light.

Sounds like that’s what the “5x” was doing on my bad attempts. Thanks.
