Correct. I have to use a tripod to get 30” exposure time. The iPhone actually takes three 10” exposures and stacks them for a total of 30”
Thanks. I'm flying out to Utah tomorrow to visit my girlfriend for a couple of weeks. Taking a small tripod with me. Far darker skies out there than here in Maryland. I'll miss the annular eclipse out there tomorrow, though.

Cool!!! Bummer on the eclipse. You should get some nice Milky Way shots for sure. If you use ProRAW, that’s the best option because JPEGs or HEIF will probably compress the image and use too much noise reduction. Please share what you get.. hopefully you can find a nice rock formation to put in front of the camera and gently light it up with the Milky Way behind it. Or an old car or house / church.

Tough view but someone’s gotta live there, right? ❤️

This is meant for the photo with the cat and gorgeous water view out the window.

Milky way shot from tripod, iPhone 15 Pro, native camera app, 1x, 30 s. No adjustements at all. Taken in suburban area with quite much light pollution unfortunately, but I was surprised how good the result was anyhow :)
Yes that looks good. That’s what mine look like before I edit.

My bestie’s cat, Julian, in portrait mode. I had to save it from Facebook because the file was too large to post here directly from my camera roll.

I went on a ghost hunt Thursday night and took some photos. I’m very impressed with the low light photos.
