Oh, now I got homesick... 😊 I grew up not far from there, but now live in another part of the country.
I live in Sweden, we have beautiful places as well but Norway is another level! Planning for a trip along southern coast of Norway next year. Or, to Lofoten.

tried the new „zero process“ function from halide 2.1.5.
It’s awesome that there is zero processing, no HDR, no Deep Fusion nothing, just one single shot.
It’s best used in good light conditions.
Some tradeoffs, like more noise but it’s nice to control it yourself how your picture has to be.
What you think?

Two more evening sky shots from my balcony.
No edit at all, it’s crazy how much editing would have been done if I did not chose „zero process“ in the app.
Don’t know which I more prefer, the no process thing or apples processing.
Tomorrow I will do a comparison with both processing methods.

Here you go guys 🧐

(the third comparison I needed to shoot in 1x zoom with halide because with „zero process“ there is no 2x zoom option, only 0,5x 1x and 5x)

For me the colors are way more accurate with „zero process“ - looks way more like I saw it in that exact moment!

And importantly to notice is that all „zero process“ pictures are first saved as RAW which you can edit if you like, those are all unedited!

Very interesting, left are unprocessed correct?
No, all Right ones where shot with „zero process“
The left ones where all shot with stock camera app in heif MAX 48mp format

Right = apple processed
Left = halide „zero process“
