Been in Vancouver since July 10th here's some pics so far shot on my iPhone 6
I took a trip to California in June. Bummed a lens I bought broke and the replacement went to my house in Texas.

I'm quite impressed by the depth of field considering the size of the iPhone's lens.

These are photos I took while riding the "California Zephyr" (Amtrak) last year around Christmas-time. The top 2 photos were taken while heading there and the bottom 2 taken during the return trip. The locations are (in order): Truckee, CA; Benicia, CA; Gypsum, CO; Kremmling, CO. The photo of the horse was taken while zoomed in quite a bit, it sort of takes on a watercolor type of appearance which I thought was interesting. I didn't do any type of correction to the photos, they are what they are, taken with an iPhone 6.
I take the train once every year or so from Chicago, IL to San Jose, CA with 1 connection in Emeryville, CA. The cost is typically ~$360 round trip and takes 3 days, but the legroom and views can't be beat.
