Trip to San Francisco, San Jose, Monterey, Big Sur, and Sausalito.

Post #: 1,901 - #1,914
I hope everyone is doing well. I’m sad and disheartened to report, I’m back from my 5-day vacation trip from San Francisco, California. I had to go back to cover more areas. It is such a magical city. I took a lot of pictures and I’m here to share this amazing trip with you. So fasten your seat belt and enjoy.

The following pictures below are listed in chronological time order.

First stop: SFO, San Francisco, California.

San Jose, California
Started off by going to San Jose first. Second stop, Steve job’s original house. Where Steve Jobs lived. It is located at Tucked away on a Palo Alto corner of Waverley Street. This is also the house where he died.

This was not easy to take pictures of the house because after arriving, within 2 minutes... I was surrounded by two unknown guys just staring at me and watching me. They were dressed up as normal people but I'm sure they were private investigators or detectives. I felt uncomfortable and I also approached one of the males and asked… do you live here? He looked at me all lost and said… wait, what? I don’t know. I told him to have a great day. It got really awkward and weird. They were watching every single move I was making. One of the guys was also pretending to be on his phone or on a phone call while watching me. I also saw one of the guys taking pictures of me and my rental vehicle. I felt like they didn’t want me there but that didn’t stop me. I stayed focused and did my thing and ended up ignoring them. It got creepy at the end.

Next stop, The Apple Garage. In this house, Steve Jobs and Woz put together the boards of their first computer, the Apple I, starting in 1976. The Apple garage you see is a Historic place as They built the first computer and company together. Someone has been living in the house because I saw a Direct TV satellite dish :)

Apple Campus (Old Headquarters)
One Infine Loop

Spend quite a lot of time there exploring the campus. There is a total of six Infinite Loops. The building is also on lockdown now and is only used for dealing with commercial and businesses. This was also not an easy task as photography is prohibited. I was lucky enough to take pictures of inside the Apple campus. It was a risk I was taking By the time I was leaving I caught myself with a security guard. He didn’t say anything but I checked my rearview glass and he took a picture of my license plate. Then, I felt like I was being followed, I ended up racing myself to catch the freeway. Hoping I'm not being followed 😳

Apple Park (Apple's Main Headquater)

After that, I went to Apple Park. This is such a magical place. I felt very little and small. The pictures you see below again were not easy to take. It got really bad because at this time. Apple security got suspicious. It was pretty much a cat and mouse game with Apple security. The building has a high level of maximum security. Everything is being monitored and on a gated clock. The security guard also blocked the door access and said to me, “You were just here”, are you ok?, Not allowed here”. Multiple pictures of my face were taken. I got very scared. However, that did not stop me :)

Overall, wonderful building. It’s just a magical place. This is where the magic happens. Picture #5 below: This is where Apple employees, execs enter to park their vehicles. There are two big tunnels. Later, I also saw a girl walking inside the Apple campus which was pretty cool. She was on her way to take the elevator. I had to go back to take more shots of the building to take shots at night. It looks stunning!!!

Overall, this was an amazing vacation trip. I covered a lot of places and as always it was over for me too fast.

During the final days of my stay, I did not want to leave. I don't know what happened but I caught myself crying and getting very emotional. While crossing the Golden Gate Bridge I remember tears coming out of my eyes. It was windy, cold, loud, scary, lonely, thrilling, frightening... but none of that mattered. I was hurt. However, it all comes down to love for the city. I truly love this city. I screamed many times, The Bay Area Living!!! while crossing the bridge.

The people were amazing. They are happy living there. The food was great, and the atmosphere and weather were wonderful. It's a magical city with spectacular views from all over the city. No matter where you go.

Foremost, it is a special place. In the end, It’s all about The Bay Area Living. 🌉♥️🌉

Thank you,

@TheYayAreaLiving 🎗

Pebble Beach!! Love the place. Was at the Monterey Peninsula last year, and got to see the Concourse d'Elegance!

Oh... and you might think I'm lying, but our whale watching tour (first time doing it off Monterey), we got super lucky and witnessed blue whales! Very rare sight. The humpbacks can be seen all the time during whale season. But the blue whale mother and her calf was a sight! 🐋
