Does Google give you 2 weeks to return the phone if you don't like it how Apple does?

Welp, the stuttering and lag and frame dropping and so forth has started once again on this thing while watching YouTube. It's bad enough where I end up with accidental clicks and launching vids I don't want to watch and screwing up my half watched clips.

Will reboot this device, update the blasted app and try again. Seems either the app has a memory leak or something or don't know how to clean its own cache or what not. It's annoying ?‍♂️

Is $399 a decent price for a new in box google replacement pixel 3xl? Warranty only lasts til end of February. Or am I better off buying a 3axl?

Is it true that Google will only honor a warranty if you have the original receipt? I have been looking to pick up a 3xl but no one on swappa has the receipt. I feel like this is a phone with a ton of issues so a warranty is a distinct possibility. Maybe I'm better off with the 3a xl or wait for 4axl. 4xl is out of my price range

Seeing new demo units online for $375. Very tempted, although there is zero warranty and I know without a doubt it will not make it through my work day. My best bet is probably waiting for the 4xl to go down to 5xx next year

That's what I've seen people say as well but I haven't been in a situation to test it. It just baffles my mind that Google wouldn't warranty THEIR phone if you don't have an order number.

Picked up a new 3xl on swappa for $375. Bad news for me is that I am having a pwm headache. No android oled has ever done this to me before, so it’s a shame. No returns so it looks like I’ll be listing it and taking a loss on it. It’s the best phone I have ever used. I can imagine the 4xl is even better.

I took a pic of my daughter next to her Christmas tree with LED lights, and I can see them pulsing when I look at my 3xl screen. You can’t notice them with your naked eye. They don’t pulse with my wife’s 11 pro. Is something wrong with my phone?

Welp, battery finally depleted to zero and device powered off. Now comes the debate whether or not to commence it's retirement

This probably have to do with the fact the LED lights use pulse width modulation, so it flickers, and cheap ones will probably flicker at 60hz, and the Google camera's normal capture mode have fast enough refresh rate to pick up the flickering.

I've always had Samsung or iPhones and a couple of LG's. I bought of swappa a second hand Pixel 3 XL, and so far really enjoying it on my AT&T plan. I originally thought about just keeping it as a second phone in case the family needed one, but my iPhone 11 Pro Max may wind up that way since I'm stuck paying on it for 30 months or I pay it off.

Works great on Android 10. Battery life is OKAY....that is about all I can say with it. But it is smooth and snappy and the camera is great! Figured I try this one first and if I liked it I'd consider the Pixel 5 XL if and when it came out.

is it worth a purchase if your budget is mere 400USD or should you wait a little longer and buy new google pixel 5XL ?

Why does my 3xl not stick with my home app of my choice? I choose evie, and once it restarts, as soon as i get in an app and hit the square white slide button on the bottom of the middle of the screen it defaults back to google as the default home app....

Anyone use evie or something better?

I like evie as its simple to set up and not have to mess with again once i have it set....

Had to use Google customer service today, it was pretty straight forward. I was about to request a call from the phone or a chat, I had them call me and it was instant. I was given the option of mailing my 3xl in or putting a pre-authorization on a card and they will mail.me a replacement. Their prices are laughable, 999 for a refurbished 3xl 128. I hope their refurbished phones have a new battery

Picked this up from eBay. Brand New sealed in the box. Just waiting for my fabric case to arrive before trying it out. Currently using a Pixel 2 I picked up brand new a few weeks back.

Why’d you decide to not wait for the 4a? Did you specifically want the XL size?

I'm around the ocean alot so need some kind of water resistance. Also love the 'not pink' colour and the 4a is not available in the UK until October.
