If they coded it using Swift, they'd have to code and maintain a second version.

Apple has made it clear they're doing the bare minimum to support 32 bit from here on out.

The 5S is 64-bit as far as I know.

I am not surprised. It would take a really bad eyesight to NOT notice the huge stutter iOS 9 has compared to 8.4.1. 9.3 does bridge the gap somewhat but it will be time to buy the S7/7 by the time iOS 9 finally (if) reaches 8.4.1 levels of performance

For my wife though, it wasn't the stutter. She just felt that the device slowed down when 9.2 was applied. It took longer for things to launch and run. I haven't shown her any stutter / chop and want to see if she picks it up enough to care.

I realized that. Apple also still sells the Apple TV 3 which is also 32 bit and runs on iOS. So support for 32 bit is still there for now.

And the ATV 3 isn't getting tvOS. So are they really supporting it?

I was referring to the idea of a 32 bit Night Shift. The performance issues should be lessened by 9.3.

Just don't visit them and stick to your favourite bugs thread. This thread is for those who are experiencing similar performance issues and are fed up with Apple's strategy

So he's supposed to stop going to more and more threads because the topic continues to spread like cancer to all of them?

I dont get why people dont like topic like these spreading. This is a pretty severe issue. The Apple support communities have too many of these threads too.Apple still doesnt do **** to actually support year old devices properly.I'd say we have a right to propogate it everywhere. If you dont see this issue, fine, stay out of these threads and let those of us actually facing the problem discuss and see if the next "X" releases fixes the issue
Even Apple knows the stuttering is a big issue because apart from Night Shift this was primarily a performance release
[doublepost=1453141761][/doublepost]I challenge anyone who says planned obsolesence does not exist to counter the video above.Show me one video where iOS 9 is faster than 8.4.1 in all levels

Except the video or it's opposite doesn't prove anything one way or another.

Because not every topic about performance needs to focus on the 3-5 things you're obsessed with. And no, you don't have a right to scare people out of topics because of your obsessions. People aren't wanting to come to this forum at all because of you. That's not right.

[MOD NOTE]
Like the other threads here it seems, this has devolved into bickering. Closing.
